melted butter |
⅓ C |

corn meal |

peanut oil |
Dough Preparation
- Mix H2O & yeast in blender
- Blend in rest of ingredients except the 3 C of flour
- Put dough in large bowl & let sit in warm place for 1 hour
- Adding remaining flour, need to soft dough
- Cover & let raise till double
- Push down and store in plastic bags in the refrigerator. You can cut into four equal portions (use one and freeze the other three).
- Dough will keep in refrigerator a few days, or can be frozen.
Cooking Preparation
- Roll a 12" circle of dough about 1/8" thick.
- Cut into 3" triangles or squares.
- Fry in peanut oil till golden and puffy.
- serve with honey & butter
